Aramco posts Q2 net profit of $33.4B, declares SAR 82B dividend

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. 2222 anchored the week's corporate disclosures with second-quarter 2026 earnings and a base dividend payout exceeding SAR 82 billion. Aramco reported adjusted net income of USD 33.4 billion for Q2 2026 and USD 67.2 billion for the first half, according to its Tadawul filing. Q2 cash flow from operations totaled USD 25.4 billion and free cash flow reached USD 12.3 billion, with gearing at 6.2% as of June 30. The company declared a Q2 base dividend of SAR 0.3393 per share, totaling SAR 82.06 billion (USD 21.88 billion), in line with its progressive dividend policy. Q2 2026 earnings season: 46 firms report

A total of 46 Tadawul-listed companies disclosed Q2 2026 results during the week, led by stc and SABIC, according to Argaam. Twenty-seven companies posted profit rises and seven reported lower earnings. The official deadline for Q2 2026 disclosures fell on Aug. 11.

Aggregate net profit of Saudi cement producers came in at SAR 513.7 million for the quarter, 6.3% below the average estimate of SAR 548.2 million compiled by Argaam. Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) informed the Saudi Exchange that it was unable to disclose H1 2026 results within the regulatory deadline, per its filing. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) said accumulated losses declined to 47.33% of capital, according to its Tadawul disclosure.

PIF-led consortium closes $55B Electronic Arts acquisition

The Public Investment Fund (PIF), Silver Lake and Affinity Partners completed the USD 55 billion acquisition of Electronic Arts on Aug. 4, 2026, according to a PIF newswire statement. PIF holds 93.4% of EA, Silver Lake 5.5% and Affinity Partners 1.1%.

Electronic Arts is now a private company and has been delisted from Nasdaq, per the same statement. The transaction represents PIF's largest completed take-private in the gaming sector to date. No further financial terms were disclosed in the closing announcement.

Corporate contracts: MIS, AWPT, Arabian Drilling

Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) signed a five-year framework agreement with Saudi Aramco for data center leasing services, per its Tadawul filing. The agreement covers racks, cooling, power, connectivity, security and support, with an option to extend for two additional years. Contract value will be determined through purchase orders under the agreed pricing schedule.

Arabian Water and Power Technologies (AWPT) signed a SAR 101.3 million contract with the National Water Company (NWC), according to its Tadawul disclosure. Arabian Drilling Co. said it will resume operations of previously suspended offshore rigs, per its statement to the Saudi Exchange. Saudi Top Trading Co. secured SAR 15 million in financing facilities from Emirates NBD, per its Nomu disclosure.

H1 2026 dividend declarations

Several Tadawul and Nomu-listed companies approved H1 2026 cash distributions during the week. Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries Co. (Avalon Pharma) board approved an 8% cash dividend at SAR 0.80 per share for H1 2026, per its Tadawul filing.

Baazeem Trading Co. board approved a 7% cash dividend at SAR 0.07 per share, and Lamasat Co. board declared a 10% cash dividend at SAR 0.10 per share, both per their Tadawul disclosures. On Nomu, Saudi Networkers Services Co. board approved a 16% cash dividend for H1 2026, and Hedab Alkhaleej Co. board approved a 5% cash dividend for the same period, according to their filings to the Saudi Exchange.

CMA and Tadawul regulatory actions

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved Musharaka Capital Co.'s request to offer units of the Musharaka Waqf Qabas Charity Fund to the public, confirming compliance with the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations, per the CMA statement.

The Saudi Exchange executed 13 negotiated deals worth SAR 89.5 million on Aug. 5, according to Argaam. Six of the deals involved Alramz Real Estate Co. totaling approximately 412,800 shares for SAR 21.5 million, representing about 1% of Alramz's 42.9 million outstanding shares. Thimar Development Holding Co. board approved its strategic plan for 2026-2030, per its Tadawul statement.

Outlook

The Q2 2026 earnings window closed on Aug. 11, with residual filings expected from companies that missed the regulatory deadline, including Chemanol. Dividend distribution eligibility and payment dates for the H1 2026 payouts announced this week, including Avalon Pharma, Baazeem, Lamasat, Saudi Networkers and Hedab Alkhaleej, will be posted through Tadawul disclosures in the coming sessions. Investors will also track execution of the MIS-Aramco data center framework as purchase orders begin issuing under the agreed pricing schedule.
