Aramco Q2 profit jumps 42% to SAR 121.5B; declares SAR 82B dividend

Aramco leads Q2 2026 earnings season as 46 Tadawul-listed firms report; TASI ends the week at 10,811.57, down 0.7% on the final session.

Saudi Aramco 2222 anchored a heavy week of Tadawul disclosures, reporting Q2 2026 net profit of SAR 121.51 billion, up 41.9% from SAR 85.63 billion a year earlier, according to its Tadawul filing. Free cash flow reached $12.3 billion in Q2 and $30.9 billion in H1 2026, with a gearing ratio of 6.2% as at June 30, 2026, the company said. Aramco declared a Q2 base dividend of SAR 0.3393 a share, totaling SAR 82.06 billion ($21.88 billion), aligned with its progressive dividend policy. Eligibility is set for shareholders on record 19 August 2026, with payment on 27 August 2026. Aramco shares rose 2% to SAR 27.12 on Aug. 3. The disclosure came within a wider Q2 2026 reporting cycle, with 46 Tadawul-listed companies filing results last week ahead of the Aug. 11 deadline, per Argaam. Of those, 27 posted higher profits and 7 reported lower earnings. The benchmark TASI closed the Aug. 3 session up 1.1% at 10,824 points on turnover of SAR 6.3 billion, supported by earnings-linked gainers across petrochemicals, retail and real estate. TASI ended the week at 10,811.57 points on Aug. 6, down 75.98 points, or 0.7%, according to Saudi Exchange data.

SABIC posts Q2 revenue of $6.62B, declares H1 dividend

Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC, 2010) reported Q2 2026 revenue of SAR 24.81 billion ($6.62 billion), down 5% quarter-on-quarter, according to its company statement. Adjusted EBITDA came in at SAR 3.38 billion, down 18% Q-o-Q, while adjusted EBIT stood at SAR 0.41 billion, down 72% Q-o-Q. The company posted an adjusted net loss of SAR 0.38 billion and adjusted EPS of SAR (0.13) for the quarter. SABIC declared H1 2026 dividends of SAR 3.3 billion ($880 million). Separately, SABIC signed the final share purchase agreement with Mutares to divest its engineering thermoplastics business in the Americas and Europe, following the board authorization issued in December 2025, per its Tadawul disclosure.

TASI ends week at 10,811.57 pts

TASI ended the week at 10,811.57 points on Aug. 6, down 75.98 points, or 0.7%, from the Aug. 5 close of 10,887.55, according to Saudi Exchange data. Earlier in the week the index closed 1.1%, or 118 points, higher at 10,824 points on Aug. 3, with turnover of about SAR 6.3 billion, according to Argaam, recording a high of 10,824 and a low of 10,672 in that session. Petro Rabigh surged 10%, Jabal Omar and SIECO rose 9%, and eXtra gained 3% to SAR 68 after announcing a SAR 2 a share dividend for H1 2026. Herfy, Thob Al Aseel, Al Majdiah, Masar, Saudi Re, Liva, Saudi Ceramics and Yamama Cement rose between 2% and 6% following results disclosures. In total, 46 Tadawul-listed companies published Q2 2026 results last week, led by stc and SABIC, with the official filing deadline set for Aug. 11.

Data center contracts drive tech disclosures

Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co. (solutions, 7202) signed an SAR 364 million contract with Center3 to construct, build and equip the DDC307 data center in Dammam, per its Tadawul statement. The 18-month contract was signed on Aug. 3 and is expected to begin contributing to financials from Q1 2027. Center3 is a related party, as stc, which owns 79% of solutions, holds a 100% stake in Center3. Separately, Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS, 7200) signed a five-year framework agreement with Saudi Aramco for data center leasing services, with an option to extend by two years. Contract value will be determined through purchase orders. MIS was also awarded a SAR 50.7 million project by Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah, according to Argaam.

Riyad Bank Q2 profit up 2%; Theeb H1 profit down 45%

Riyad Bank 1010 posted Q2 2026 net profit of SAR 2.65 billion, up 2% year-on-year, supported by a 5% rise in total operating income, per its financial statement. Theeb Rent a Car Co. 4261 reported H1 2026 net profit of SAR 50.9 million, down 45% from SAR 93.2 million a year earlier. Q2 2026 net income fell 66% year-on-year despite a 16.4% increase in revenue. The company attributed the decline to lower rental fleet utilization, higher expected credit loss provisions and continued margin pressure in the used car sales segment. Elsewhere in the disclosure cycle, National Gas & Industrialization Co. (GAS) declared a SAR 0.22 a share cash dividend for H1 2026, Tamkeen's board declared a 14.3% cash dividend for H1 2026, and Alamar's board declared a 5% cash dividend for Q2 2026, per Argaam.

Cenomi Centers launches Westfield Jeddah operations

Arabian Centres Co. (Cenomi Centers, 4321) completed its Westfield Jeddah project, received its occupancy certificate and launched on-site operations on July 30, per its Tadawul disclosure. Pre-leasing stood at nearly 96% at launch. The project is expected to contribute about SAR 350 million in additional EBITDA annually once at stable operating phase, the company said. In related disclosures, Al Majdiah signed a SAR 395.8 million deal for two residential towers at Masar Destination, Bidaya Finance renewed a SAR 750 million credit facility with Al Rajhi Bank, and Alramz secured SAR 300 million in credit facilities from Alinma Bank, according to Argaam. Amiantit disclosed that the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade (GAFT) imposed 5-year anti-dumping duties on iron pipe imports from India.

Outlook

The Q2 2026 disclosure window closes on Aug. 11, with remaining Tadawul-listed issuers due to file results by that date, per Argaam. Aramco's Q2 dividend record date is 19 August 2026, with payment on 27 August 2026. SABIC's H1 2026 dividend and remaining sector dividend record dates are set to follow board notifications on Tadawul.
